PDRM vows to uphold good governance in all procurement processes following the Prime Minister’s directive to freeze suspect deals.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will ensure all procurement follows principles of good governance to safeguard public interest.
Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said PDRM noted Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s statement on procurement matters.
“PDRM will implement all necessary actions professionally, transparently, and with integrity,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.

This follows the Prime Minister’s order to temporarily freeze all procurement decisions for the military and police linked to corruption issues.
Anwar said the freeze would remain until procurement processes are fully complied with.
He stressed the government would examine and restructure all procurements to ensure system transparency. – Bernama
