JKKP probes ammonia cylinder explosion at Seremban Toll Plaza, vows legal action for safety violations after three people suffered breathing difficulties.
SEREMBAN: The Negeri Sembilan Department of Occupational Safety and Health (JKKP) will conduct further investigations to identify the cause of an ammonia gas cylinder explosion.
The incident occurred at the Seremban Toll Plaza exit heading north yesterday.
Legal action will be taken against any parties found responsible for violations under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.

The state JKKP director’s office stated it takes all accidents or occupational diseases seriously.
It remains committed to enhancing occupational safety and health levels nationwide.
Yesterday, three individuals suffered breathing difficulties after one of 15 ammonia cylinders on a lorry exploded.
The victims included a PLUS security guard, a PLUS toll officer and a lorry driver. – Bernama
