Authorities seek public assistance to locate 17-year-old Hazqil Hajid Ahmad Hamdan, last seen in Saujana Utama wearing a police cadet t-shirt.
KUALA LUMPUR: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing 17-year-old boy.
Sungai Buloh police chief Supt Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor confirmed a report was lodged by the teen’s mother yesterday evening.
Hazqil Hajid Ahmad Hamdan failed to return home, prompting the report at 6.38 pm.
He is described as approximately 183 centimetres tall and weighing 77 kg.
The missing youth has short, straight black hair.
“He was last seen at Jalan SP 3/9, Sri Pristana, Saujana Utama, Sungai Buloh,” said Mohd Hafiz in a statement.
“At the time, he was wearing a dark blue police cadet t-shirt and black track pants.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact Sgt Norsamsila Daud at 017-870 1889.
The public can also notify the nearest police station.
