Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man missing since leaving his Bayan Baru home on June 10.
GEORGE TOWN: Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a man who has been reported missing since leaving his house in Persiaran Mayang Pasir 2, Bayan Baru, near here, on June 10.
Southwest District police chief ACP Anuwal Ab Wahab said Shahir Zainul, 45, was last seen leaving his house at about 5 am on a motorcycle.
“The man’s disappearance was reported by his mother, Salmah Shamsudin, on June 12.
“Upon investigation, the man’s blue Yamaha Lagenda motorcycle was found abandoned by the roadside along Jalan Lebuh Bukit Jambul. It has been returned to his family,” he said in a statement.
He urged those with information to contact the Southwest District Police Headquarters at 04-8662222 or go to the nearest police station to assist with the investigation.
