Sultan Nazrin Shah graced the proclamation of Ismail Mohamed Yusuff as the 2026 president of the Gunung Keledang Bakti Club in Ipoh.
IPOH: The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, graced the Proclamation of the 2026 President of the Gunung Keledang Bakti Club (KBGK) here last night.
His Royal Highness was accompanied by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.
Architect Ismail Mohamed Yusuff was proclaimed the 39th president of the club, replacing Muhammad Hamzah Md Hamdan.
Ismail, a member since 2016, has been involved in several major state building projects.
These include the Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Complex in 2016 and the internationally recognised Tuanku Zara Aquatic Centre in 2018.
He described his main mission for 2026 as strengthening racial integration through strategic NGO cooperation.
Initiatives include collaboration with the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation and the National Autism Society of Malaysia. – Bernama
