Perlis Road Transport Department revenue rose to RM29.96 million last year, boosted by special summons payment offers and enforcement actions.
KANGAR: The Perlis Road Transport Department (JPJ) recorded revenue of RM29.96 million in 2025, an increase from RM27.31 million the previous year.
Director Noraini Mohd Nawi said the revenue was derived from enforcement collections, vehicle licensing, and driver licensing.
She attributed part of the rise to a special flat-rate compound payment offer for three summons categories from January to June 2025.
A 50% discount on all JPJ summonses from November to December 2025 also contributed to the increased collections.
Noraini added that enforcement actions last year led to the seizure of 106 vehicles.
Of these, 21 vehicles were forfeited by court order and 31 were auctioned off.
