PM Anwar departs for Kuala Lumpur after APEC meeting in South Korea

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim concludes South Korea working visit after attending APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Gyeongju.

GYEONGJU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has departed for Kuala Lumpur after concluding his working visit to South Korea.

He led the Malaysian delegation to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders’ Meeting which began on Friday.

The aircraft carrying Anwar departed from the Gimhae Air Base at Gimhae International Airport at 3.08 pm local time.

Malaysian Ambassador to South Korea Datuk Mohd Zamruni Khalid was present at the airport to send off the prime minister.

Commander of the Republic of Korea Air Force’s 5th Air Wing Brigadier General Kang Geun Shin also attended the departure ceremony. – Bernama
