KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced new ministerial appointments and portfolio changes today.
He said the adjustments were necessary to fill vacancies and ensure the cabinet works as a team.
“This is to ensure the Cabinet works as a team and focuses on reinvigorating economic growth while addressing the people’s concerns,” he told reporters in Putrajaya.
Anwar stated he would only announce ministers whose portfolios had changed or who were newly appointed.
He said those remaining in their posts would not be part of the announcement.
