PPP to table 10 motions at its assembly, including a call for a Royal Commission of Inquiry on education reform to ensure fairness and inclusivit
KUALA LUMPUR: The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) will table 10 motions at its Annual General Assembly, including a proposal to establish a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on education reform.
PPP president Datuk Dr Loga Bala Mohan (pic) said the motion is intended to ensure the education system is fair, inclusive and equitable for all Malaysians.
The motions cover various national issues, including education and social reforms, unity and youth matters.
They will be debated during the second session of the assembly at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.
More than 5,000 delegates from the party’s main wing, as well as its Youth and Women’s wings, are expected to attend.
Barisan Nasional chairman and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is scheduled to officiate at the assembly and deliver the keynote address.
