24,426 military and police personnel and spouses will vote early in Sabah state election tomorrow at 58 centres across the state.
KOTA KINABALU: Early voting for the 17th Sabah State Election begins tomorrow for 24,426 military and police personnel and their spouses.
The early voters include 11,697 military personnel and spouses alongside 12,729 police personnel and spouses.
Fifty-eight early voting centres will open simultaneously across Sabah starting at 8am.
Voting centres include the state contingent police headquarters, district police headquarters, and military camps throughout Sabah.
Ballot counting will only occur on polling day this Saturday, November 29.
The state election features 596 candidates contesting 73 state seats, including 74 independent candidates.
Campaigning began on November 15 and will conclude at 11.59pm on November 28. – Bernama
