Six Malaysian companies chosen for MyABE pilot cohort to boost ASEAN expansion, including CIMB, IHH Healthcare and Kuala Lumpur Kepong.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission has named six companies for the inaugural Malaysian ASEAN Business Entity pilot cohort.
The MyABE initiative comprises two categories: MyABE-PLC for public listed companies with established regional operations and MyABE-MTC for mid-tier companies showing strong ASEAN growth potential.
Selected MyABE-PLC companies include CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, IHH Healthcare Bhd and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd.
MyABE-MTC selections are Aonic Sdn Bhd, MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd and NSW Automation Sdn Bhd.
SC chairman Datuk Mohammad Faiz Azmi said the MyABE status recognises Malaysian champions expanding beyond borders and creating value across ASEAN.
“Their expansion strengthens regional supply chains and drives growth for the wider region,” he stated.
“This pilot will enable us to fine-tune the support needed for more companies to do the same while easing skilled talent movement.”
The MyABE cohort initiative was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Budget 2026. – Bernama
