Three people were killed and two injured in a collision between two vehicles in Maran, Pahang early this morning, said fire department.
KUANTAN: Three people were killed in a collision involving two vehicles along Jalan Besar Maran-Temerloh in Kampung Paya Pasir, Maran, early this morning.
Pahang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) assistant director of operations Mohd Salahuddin Isa said the crash involved a Perodua Alza multi-purpose vehicle and a Perodua Myvi.
The department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 6.02 am and dispatched a team from the Maran Fire and Rescue Station to the scene.
“Three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, comprising a male passenger in the Perodua Alza and two women travelling in the Perodua Myvi,” he said in a statement.
He said two other individuals travelling in the Perodua Alza were injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
