MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in parts of Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Sarawak this morning.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a severe weather warning for five states.
MetMalaysia said thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are forecast until 11 am today.
The alert covers parts of Pahang, including the Bentong and Temerloh districts.
In Negeri Sembilan, the affected areas are Jelebu, Kuala Pilah, Jempol and Tampin.
The same warning is in effect for the entire state of Melaka.
Parts of Johor, specifically Tangkak and Muar, are also included in the alert.
In Sarawak, the warning applies to several divisions.
The affected areas in Sarawak include Sibu (Selangau), Mukah (Dalat and Mukah), Kapit (Kapit and Bukit Mabong) and Bintulu.
