KOTA KINABALU: Thunderstorms are forecast across most areas of Sabah on Saturday, which marks polling day for the 17th Sabah State Election.
According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department, rain is expected in several locations during the morning.
Thunderstorms are predicted in most inland areas during the afternoon, while rain is expected in several locations at night.
The maximum temperature throughout the day is expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius.
A total of 1.76 million voters will cast their ballots in the election, which is contesting 73 state seats.
There will be 882 polling centres with 3,558 polling streams available for voters.
