A spokesperson for Sunset by Neon said the event reflects the company’s ambition to bring world-class electronic music experiences to Malaysia.
“From the very beginning, Sunset by Neon was always about creating experiences that feel impossible in Malaysia — the kind of moments you travel overseas to witness. If we were bringing UPPERGROUND here, it had to feel truly special. Over the past few months, our team has worked closely with the UPPERGROUND team to build an experience worthy of the trust our audience continues to place in us,” the spokesperson said.
The organisers said the event will feature full-scale production support from the UPPERGROUND team, with a focus on immersive audiovisual elements designed to elevate the mountain-top setting.
With multiple international debuts and rare regional appearances, the 2026 edition of UPPERGROUND is expected to be one of Southeast Asia’s standout electronic music events of the year.
