Hakim Danish to race in final two Moto3 Rounds

Malaysia’s rising motorcycle talent Hakim Danish is set to make his Moto3 World Championship appearance in the final two rounds of the 2025 season. The 17-year-old will compete in the Portuguese Grand Prix at the Algarve International Circuit from Nov 7–9, followed by the Valencian Grand Prix at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit from Nov 14–16.

Hakim will represent the MT MSI Racing Team, stepping in for Japan’s Ryusei Yamanaka, who is sidelined due to injury. The call-up marks a major step forward for the young Malaysian, who has been turning heads in the FIM JuniorGP World Championship and the Red Bull Rookies Cup.

This opportunity will serve as a crucial experience and learning curve for Hakim as he prepares for his full-season debut in the 2026 Moto3 World Championship. November will be a particularly hectic month for him, with two JuniorGP rounds coinciding with his World Championship outings.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the MT MSI Racing Team for giving me this opportunity to compete in the final two rounds of the 2025 GP season,” said Hakim. “I’ll do my best to learn as much as I can and adapt to the Moto3 machine, which is very different from what I’ve ridden in the Rookies Cup and JuniorGP.”

The Perak-born rider’s participation underscores Malaysia’s growing presence in international motorcycle racing, following in the footsteps of compatriots such as Khairul Idham Pawi and Syarifuddin Azman.

With the world stage beckoning, all eyes will be on Hakim Danish as he gears up to close his 2025 campaign in style — and kickstart his Moto3 journey on the global stage.
