Man killed after pickup truck crushed by fallen tree in Hulu Selangor

HULU SELANGOR: A man was killed when his pickup truck was crushed by a fallen tree along Jalan Batang Kali this afternoon.

The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 2.14 pm.

Firefighters arrived at the location at 2.45 pm and found a Toyota Hilux crushed by the tree.

The male driver was trapped inside and pronounced dead at the scene.

Five personnel from the Kuala Kubu Baru Fire and Rescue Station were deployed to extricate the victim. – Bernama
