IPOH: Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming has apologised and retracted remarks he made during the pre-launch of the Bukit Bintang’s I Lite U lighting initiative.

Nga stated he accepts all feedback regarding his comments during the programme and withdraws any statements that may have caused confusion or upset among media members.

He expressed his wholehearted welcome of feedback concerning his misstep during the Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur Lighting Programme.

The minister retracted his remarks and apologised to any media practitioners who were offended so everyone could focus on rebuilding the nation.

Nga made this statement during a press conference for the MADANI Park opening ceremony at Taman Book Bak.

He emphasised that he holds the media and their freedom of expression in the highest regard as they carry out their duties.

Nga reiterated his apology and retraction to enable concentration on efforts to uphold and elevate the nation’s dignity.
