PTPTN relaunches Lestari Pendidikan campaign with flexible repayment options

The Sun Webdesk

PTPTN’s Lestari Pendidikan campaign offers flexible loan restructuring for borrowers with RM500+ arrears, running until December 15 with special incentives.

KUALA LUMPUR: The National Higher Education Fund Corporation has reintroduced its Lestari Pendidikan Campaign to help borrowers manage their education loan repayments.

Running from October 15 to December 15, the campaign targets conventional and Ujrah borrowers with arrears of RM500 or more.

Participants must pay a 20% advance on their total arrears or at least RM500 before applying for repayment negotiation through the myPTPTN web application.

The initiative follows the #PTPTNBolehBincang concept, allowing borrowers to restructure repayment schedules according to their financial capacity.

“Borrowers can discuss or negotiate a flexible repayment plan, enabling them to restructure their loan repayments according to their financial capacity,” PTPTN said in a statement.

The corporation emphasized that this approach ensures both borrower support and the sustainability of loan funds for future generations.

Concurrently, PTPTN is holding Bulan Mesra Pelanggan at all state offices and branches nationwide from November 1 to December 15.

Borrowers repaying RM500 or more can enter a lucky draw with RM70,000 in total prizes for 140 winners.

The first 20 customers visiting PTPTN counters for negotiation will receive special souvenirs.

Counter operating hours at state offices and selected branches will extend until 6 pm from December 1 to 15, with Saturdays open until 5 pm.

PTPTN also encouraged borrowers to use salary deduction or direct debit for repayments while benefiting from restructuring incentives. – Bernama
