Adam Adli comforts young cancer patient with visit and aid

Deputy Minister Adam Adli cheers up a young leukaemia patient, pledging financial and educational support while praising her unwavering spirit.

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Minister of Higher Education Adam Adli Abdul Halim brought comfort to a young cancer patient during a visit to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital in Kuala Terengganu.

The minister met Nur Fatini Husna, who is undergoing treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML).

In a Facebook post, Adam Adli stated his Special Officer had visited the child on his behalf to identify necessary assistance.

He said they are working to ensure the family does not face this challenge alone.

Apart from providing financial aid, efforts are underway to secure a more suitable device to assist her learning.

“This little girl has an extraordinary spirit,” Adam Adli wrote.

He noted that despite months in a hospital bed, Husna never abandoned her studies.

“Even though she was severely tested and even taken advantage of, she still did not give up,” he added.

Adam Adli described the girl speaking calmly in the ward, consistently repeating her simple yet profound dream.

Her wish is to be healthy again so she can return to school and study as usual.

The deputy minister requested continued prayers for the child and others in similar situations.

He also expressed hope that their families would be blessed with ongoing strength and perseverance.
