The first phase will permit the resumption of transit flights through Iranian airspace.
Phase two will involve the restart of flights from airports located in eastern Iran.
Operations will then be restored at Tehran’s Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini airports during the third phase.
The fourth and final phase will include flights from airports in the western part of the country.
Airline ticket sales are currently suspended nationwide pending official announcements.
The Civil Aviation Organisation advised the public to monitor official channels for the latest airport status and ticket purchase options.
No specific timeline has been provided for when the phased reopening will commence.
Flight operations will be restored gradually based on the technical and operational readiness of military and civilian authorities.
The airspace closure followed a joint US and Israeli offensive against Iran on Feb 28.

A Pakistan-mediated two-week ceasefire has been in effect since April 8.
Washington and Tehran held talks in Pakistan last weekend aimed at achieving a lasting peace.
