Malaysia to host global defence and security expo in 2026

Malaysia welcomes global delegates to DSA and NATSEC Asia 2026, a key platform for defence diplomacy and showcasing advanced security technologies.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is set to welcome exhibitors, delegates, and distinguished guests from across the globe to the 19th Defence Services Asia (DSA) Exhibition and Conference and the 4th International Exhibition on National Security for Asia (NATSEC Asia) 2026.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said DSA and NATSEC Asia 2026 are not merely exhibitions showcasing the latest and most advanced defence and security technologies from around the world, but are also strategic platforms that serve as neutral spaces for nations to strengthen ties through defence diplomacy and constructive engagements.

“It also features high-level forums that bring together governments, industry leaders and defence communities to advance cooperation and shared security priorities, while creating opportunities for local industry players to elevate their capabilities through partnerships, innovation and global market exposure.

“I warmly welcome all attendees and wish our esteemed guests fruitful engagements and a pleasant stay throughout DSA & NATSEC Asia 2026,” he posted on Facebook today.

Earlier, Mohamed Khaled said 368 Malaysian companies are participating in the four-day event through the newly-introduced Malaysian Defence Industry Consortium pavilion, showcasing a range of products and capabilities.

Held under the theme ‘Empowering Capabilities and Resilience Through Technology’, the event will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim tomorrow at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
