May 2026 electoral roll open for review, says EC

Malaysians can check the May 2026 supplementary electoral roll for 30 days until July 29, says the Election Commission.

PUTRAJAYA: The May 2026 supplementary electoral roll is available for public review for 30 days until July 29, according to Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus.

Certified yesterday (June 29) and gazetted today, the May 2026 supplementary electoral roll includes 40,139 citizens aged 18 and above who were automatically registered as new voters in May, he confirmed.

Additionally, the registry includes 23,902 electors who have moved to different constituencies and 3,400 who have updated their voter category or status.

“The EC urges citizens aged 18 and above who were registered between May 1 and 31, 2026, as well as any registered voters who have applied for a change of constituency or voting status, to check their names in the May 2026 supplementary electoral roll,” he said in a statement today.

He noted that voters could check their status via the EC portal https://www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my, as well as through the official portals of state election offices at http://ppn.spr.gov.my, online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my, the MySPR Semak mobile app, or by calling the voter registration hotline on 03-8892 7218.

Khairul Shahril said that if individuals find their names missing from the May 2026 supplementary electoral roll, they can submit a claim by completing Form C via the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my or by visiting their respective State Election Office.

Registered voters wishing to contest the transfer of another voter into their constituency may lodge a formal objection by filing Form D, available on the MySPR online platform or at local State Election Offices.

Forms C and D are available to download via the state election office portal at http://ppn.spr.gov.my and must be submitted to the relevant State Election Director, along with the objection fee payment, during office hours on any working day throughout the May 2026 supplementary electoral roll review period.
