PERKESO offers employers up to 80% late contribution discount

PERKESO offers employers up to 80% discount on late contribution payments during its Penang festival, alongside a career carnival and free health screenings.

BUKIT MERTAJAM: The Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) is offering discounts of up to 80% on Late Contribution Payments for employers during the Mega iLINDUNGu Festival @ Penang.

The festival will be held at the EVOKE site here from November 21 to 23.

Penang was selected as the festival’s second location following strong employer participation at the inaugural event in Shah Alam in October.

PERKESO chief communications and corporate affairs officer Roshaimi Mat Rosely said the initiative helps employers settle outstanding obligations while promoting compliance with social security rules.

“Employers with FCLB issues can walk in during the programme,” he said in a statement.

He added that such discounts of up to 80% are rarely offered, encouraging employers to take advantage of the opportunity.

The festival will also feature the LINDUNG Kerjaya MYFutureJobs career carnival.

It brings together 20 major employers offering more than 2,000 vacancies across various sectors and job levels.

The PERKESO Rehabilitation Centre will conduct interviews for 30 vacancies at the National Neuro-Robotic and Cybernics Rehabilitation Centre.

A sale of A-Care health products will also be held.

Visitors are encouraged to visit PERKESO’s special counter for services such as contribution checks and registration for protection schemes.

Advisory support on PERKESO matters will also be available.

The three-day festival will include free health screenings and an e-sports competition.

A LINDUNG Pekerja talk and lucky draw with prizes worth over RM20,000 will also be featured.

Prizes include four motorcycles, six bicycles and various household items.

A special session with Human Resources Minister Steven Sim will be held to enhance public understanding of social security.

The session will also explain the role of PERKESO in safeguarding workers.
