PH candidate Romansa Lamin says collaboration with GRS boosts chances of winning Segama constituency, focusing on development and voter welfare
LAHAD DATU: The partnership between Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) could secure victory in the Segama constituency during the state election.
PH candidate Romansa Lamin acknowledged that establishing the collaboration required significant effort from both sides.
He credited the openness of GRS supporters and leaders for enabling the agreement, alongside a shared commitment to local development.
“Starting today, we are fostering close cooperation and moving in tandem with GRS grassroots leadership,” Romansa said.
He confirmed that both parties will continue meeting regularly to discuss campaign progress.
GRS Lahad Datu division chief Datu Rajesh Mohd Yusof attended the community engagement programme alongside PH and GRS election machinery.
Romansa and campaign teams also held discussions with Segama grassroots leaders.
“Our priority is to champion the welfare of the people, ensuring that Segama constituents enjoy a better and more secure life,” he emphasised.
The PH candidate confirmed the alliance will continue throughout the election period.
Both parties will coordinate efforts in Segama if they win the constituency. – Bernama
