PLUS activates contra lane on ELITE Expressway for pipe works

PLUS opens contra lane on ELITE Expressway from Bandar Saujana Putra to Putrajaya from Nov 24-27 for water pipe installation works

KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS Malaysia Berhad will implement a contra lane along the Bandar Saujana Putra–Putrajaya route on the ELITE Expressway starting tonight.

The contra lane spans from KM18.0 to KM19.5 on the North-South Expressway Central Link and will operate from 11pm to 5am daily until November 27.

PLUS stated this measure is necessary to facilitate water pipe installation works by a third-party contractor.

Highway users are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow all traffic signs in the affected area.

Motorists should also adhere to instructions from PLUS personnel when passing through the construction zone.

Latest traffic updates are available via the PLUS App and PUTRI Virtual Assistant.

Users can also check the X @plustrafik application and Variable Message Signboards at selected locations for real-time information.

PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000 remains available for emergency assistance throughout the contra lane operation period. – Bernama
