Continuous rain warnings at danger and severe levels issued for Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu until November 26, with alerts for Perak, Pahang and Selangor.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a Continuous Rain Warning at the danger level expected to persist until November 26.
The warning covers Perlis, several districts in Kedah, Kelantan and Besut in Terengganu.
Affected areas in Kedah include Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Padang Terap, Yan, Pendang and Sik.
Kelantan districts involved are Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang and Pasir Puteh.
A Continuous Rain Warning at the severe level has also been issued until the same date for several areas in Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kelantan and Terengganu.
Alert-level warnings are in effect for several districts in Perak, Pahang and Selangor until November 24 and 26.
