Malaysia Closed Pickleball Championships 2025 to crown national champions

The inaugural Malaysia Closed Pickleball Championships 2025 in Sentul will establish a national ranking system to select players for international competitions

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Closed Pickleball Championships 2025 will determine the country’s top players through a new national ranking system.

Held at Sentul from December 5-8, the inaugural tournament offers participants ranking points and national titles across five categories.

Malaysia Pickleball Association advisor Dr Kelvin Yii said the event aims to identify talent for international representation.

“We will introduce the national ranking system at this tournament and it is important to ensure that any international competition in the future is conducted through a transparent selection system,” he told a media conference.

“Through this system, the top-ranked players will be chosen to represent Malaysia at international championships.”

The tournament features men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles categories.

Registration for junior players is available at https://www.sportssync.asia while senior players can register at https://www.swp.solemas.com.

The entry deadline is November 30. – Bernama
