Defending champions JDT will face PDRM FC in the Malaysia Cup round of 16, while 33-time winners Selangor FC meet Kelantan The Real Warriors.
DEFENDING champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) will begin their Malaysia Cup title defence against PDRM FC.
The Southern Tigers were drawn against the police side in the round of 16 during the official draw.
JDT will play the first leg away before hosting the return fixture at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri.
The winner of that tie will face either Melaka FC or Sabah FC in the quarter-finals.
The 2021 champions, Kuala Lumpur City FC, were paired with semi-pro side Perak FA.
Another semi-pro team, UM-Damansara United, will face Super League side Terengganu FC.
On the opposite side of the bracket, 33-time winners Selangor FC will play Kelantan The Real Warriors FC.
The victor of that match will meet either Imigresen FC or Negeri Sembilan FC in the last eight.
Kuching FC were drawn to play Penang FC, while the semi-pro Kelantan Red Warriors FC will face DPMM FC.
The round of 16 first legs are scheduled to begin on January 17.
The tournament final is expected to be held in May.
Teams eliminated at this stage will continue in the Malaysian Football League (MFL) Challenge Cup 2025-2026.
