Carimin gets RM11m work orders

    PETALING JAYA: Carimin Petroleum Bhd has received RM11 million worth of maintenance work orders from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.
    The company said in a statement yesterday that majority of the maintenance works will be delivered to the Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal in Kerteh, as part of the Petronas' Pan Malaysia Integrated Hook-Up and Commissioning & Topside Major Maintenance (HUC & TMM) Service Contract.
    "With these work orders, our total work value at present stands at RM911.8 million for HUC, TMM and manpower supply, which will keep us busy till 2018.
    "We are actively submitting work proposals as the tenders become available, and are awaiting the outcome of the RM19 million submitted to Petronas Carigali for maintenance services as well. We hope to secure positive outcomes soon," said its managing director Mokhtar Hashim.
    The company, which made its debut on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on Monday, provides offshore oil and gas (O&G) support services in Malaysia. Its ongoing tender book stood in excess of RM800 million as at Oct 31, 2014.
