KLANG: A taxi driver was found hacked to death in a fight with a Bangladeshi immigrant worker over what the police suspect was fueled by intense jealousy over a woman, at a house in Bandar Baru Klang here last night.
The suspected killer who was armed with a machete fled from the scene after the attack in which Mohd Alias Mahani, 55, was hacked on the head several times in a room at the foreigner's house in Jalan Kepayang.
North Klang police chief ACP Mohamad Shukor Sulong said the victim's friend, also a taxi driver, found the body about 10pm at the terrace house.

He said prior to the incident, Mohd Alias was seen fighting with the foreigner, in his 30s, in front of an empty shop in Jalan Meru. The fight is believed to have been caused by jealousy over a young woman.
"The victim's friend saw the fight between the two men. At that juncture, the victim was seen chasing the Bangladeshi right up to the suspect's house when the latter attempted to flee.
