Siti Nurhaliza supports Tun Mahathir in quest to uncover truth over 1MDB

PETALING JAYA: One the nation's most prominent artistes, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, has stepped forward to support former prime minister Tun Mahathir Mohamad in the wake of mounting criticism levelled against 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
Posting on her Twitter and Instagram account, Siti Nurhaliza expressed her love and devotion for the veteran statesman for all the challenges and tribulations faced during his tenure to develop the country and make it renowned globally.
"We ought to value his contributions and follow in his path. There are no youths if not for the elders," she said in her posting.
Since the post was uploaded over a day ago, it has since garnered 18,600 likes.
Mahathir, speaking from his blog chedet.cc, wrote on April 13 about feeling alone in seeking answers over many issues he raised, including 1MDB's massive debts and the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu in 2006.
