PETALING JAYA: Pos Malaysia Bhd has launched a free service which enables customers to pick up their parcels at any time in three easy steps with immediate effect.
Customers are able to access the parcels during office hours, during the weekend and even on public holidays.
Dubbed "Pos Laju EziBox", the service is available every day with these three steps:
    > Customers receives a SMS, which notifies them to collect their parcel at a Pos Laju EziBox within 48 hours along with a secure one-time PIN number
    > Customers enter the PIN number provided to open the locker
    > Customers collect their parcels
This service caters to missed Pos Laju deliveries to customers who were not at home to receive their parcels, which will be sent to the nearest Pos Laju EziBox for them to collect within 48 hours after receiving an SMS notification.
This service is expected to be extended to online shoppers soon and is now available at Kuala Lumpur's Dayabumi Complex level 1, Gombak LRT station, Johor Bharu general post office, Terengganu's Chukai post office, Sungai Besi Post office, Bangi Pos Laju Outlet, Taman Connaught Shell station, Damansara Jaya Shell station and Kelana Jaya post office.
Pos Malaysia group chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Shukri Mohd Salleh said in a statement today that if customers respond well to the service, they plant to 60 more nationwide next year.
He added that several strategic locations, such as around LRT stations as well as residential and office areas, which are accessible to the public, is being studied.
