He said the makeover classroom with creative artpiece by students, air-conditioner environment and technology based laptops were placed for students usage.
He recalled that students previously were taught to sit quietly and listen to the teachers when class sessions were ongoing but things changed now.
He said students should have the chance to express themselves instead in this 21st century-based education system.
"The trend and style of teaching has changed nowadays," he said in his speech before officiating the "Frog Classroom".
Headmistress Leong Sook Luan also expressed her gratitude for the transformation as it served a platform for students to improve themselves with a better learning environment.
She said it is a must now to equip them with technology-savvy knowledge to face the challenges in the new era.
YTL company Implementation consultant (Penang) S. Usharani said they had contributed about RM14,000 for some of the facilities in the classroom.
She said SK Taman Senangan, Butterworth, was already equiped with such a classroom on the mainland and Kong Min Cawangan Satu was the first on the island.
"Any schools can apply for the makeover classroom," she said, adding that interested parties could log on to Frog Asia Sdn Bhd's website.
