PETALING JAYA: A consortium formed by Gadang Holdings Bhd and BT Solar Sdn Bhd has clinched a contract from the Energy Commission for the development of a large-scale solar photovoltaic plant in Kota Marudu, Sabah.
Gadang, a construction and property player, said its joint venture comprising its wholly-owned subsidiary Regional Utilities Sdn Bhd and BT Solar accepted the letter of acceptance of offer from the commission on Dec 15 last year.
The letter of acceptance of offer requires the consortium to satisfy certain obligations before the commission issues the formal letter of award for the project.
