24-hour water supply disruption in Maran on Nov 22

KUANTAN: A total of 7,291 consumer accounts in Maran near here will experience a 24-hour water disruption starting next Wednesday.
Pahang Water Management Berhad (PAIP), in a statement, here today said the disruption would be due to the installation of the water barrier at the main Jengka Utama Water Treatment Plant.
"The installation work is scheduled to begin at 11am on Nov 22 and will end at 11am the following day," said the statement.
The areas affected are Felda Jengka 10, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, Rumpun Makmur, Jengka Town, Kampung Gunung Senyum, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Rantau Perintis, Desa Jaya, Taman Jengka Mahkota, Taman Permatang Shahbandar, Taman Jengka Impian 1 and 2, Kampung Durian Hijau, Kampung Bukit Nikmat and nearby areas.
As such, PAIP advised consumers to store sufficient water and they can call the Consumers Service Centre (PULAPEL) at 09-5739999 for enquiries. — Bernama
