Econpile bags RM48m contract from MRCB Builders Sdn Bhd

PETALING JAYA: Econpile Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM48 million contract from MRCB Builders Sdn Bhd, a unit Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB), to undertake bored piling works, basement works and earthworks of a mixed development located in Kuala Lumpur.
Econpile's board said in a bourse announcement on Friday, it had on Oct 3 received the letter of award dated Sept 29, for Parcel B, which comprises of a three apartments blocks with an eight storey car park, a retail area and a two storey basement car park at, Seksyen 98, Kuala Lumpur.
The 18 month contract is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of Econpile for its financial year ending 30 June 2018.
Econpile's shares rose 2.97% to close at RM3.12 on Friday, with some 2.77million shares traded.
