Kamalanathan visits Chinese community in Serendah

HULU SELANGOR: Deputy Education Minister, Datuk P. Kamalanathan today took time to visit the Chinese community at the Tokong Dewa Mazu in Serendah.
During his visit, he also met with the temple committee and also presented them with several necessary items.
Several local leaders were also present during the meeting where Kamalanathan, who is also the MP for Hulu Selangor urged the community to foster stronger relations among each other.
He said though there were people of so many different races living in Malaysia, they should continue to respect and understand each other's cultures and religions.
"Unity has been the cornerstone of our nation for years and I strongly urge all Malaysians to continue upholding this to ensure a sound future for our children," he said.
