Kumpulan Jetson, Helios to jointly bid for solar power projects in Sabah

PETALING JAYA: Kumpulan Jetson Bhd is planning to jointly bid for any solar power projects in Sabah with Helios Photovoltaic Sdn Bhd.
Helios is principally engaged in the business as dealers of solar energy products, offering services ranging from delivering solar power solutions, maintenance and solar monitoring system.
Kumpulan Jetson told the stock exchange that the parties have entered into a heads of agreement (HoA) to jointly co-operate to procure the contract and to jointly execute the proposed projects.
Upon successful award of contracts, the parties will form a 50:50 special purpose vehicle to undertake the projects with a view of entering into a definitive agreement.
The HoA will remain in force until the execution of the definitive agreement; or terminated by either party by giving three month’s written notice to the other party, whichever is the earlier, it added.
Kumpulan Jetson’s share price fell 2.17% or half a sen at 22.5 sen today with 233,700 shares traded.
