MACC detains three for allegedly soliciting bribe

KUALA LUMPUR: A clerk, a political secretary and a personal assistant of a parliamentarian were picked up by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) yesterday over suspected corruption involving RM20,000.
Sources said two suspects were detained at Taman Maluri yesterday afternoon.
The third suspect was nabbed at the MACC headquarters last night.
Sources revealed that the suspects were detained for soliciting a bribe from a company director involving an immigration matter of a foreign worker.
