MACC remands businessman over land development project

PUTRAJAYA: A businessman in Perak has been remanded for two days to facilitate investigations into alleged corruption and fraud involving a land development project.
The suspect aged 47 years was detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) here, around 4pm yesterday.
The remand order applied by MACC was issued by magistrate Nik Isfahanie Tasnim Wan Ab Rahman.
