Moderate earthquake strikes South Indian Ocean

    KUALA LUMPUR: A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, occurred at the South Indian Ocean, at 5.05 pm today.
    The Malaysian Meteorological Department, in a statement, said the epicentre of the quake was 1,252km southwest of Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.
    The quake, however, did not pose any tsunami threat, it added. — Bernama
