Sabah police, Mamee Double-Decker channel aid to flood victims

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah police and Mamee Double-Decker (M) Sdn Bhd company today distributed food aid to flood victims housed at eight relief centres in Kota Belud.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Ramli Din said the donation was part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) to ease the burden of those affected.
"We have received 300 boxes of Maggi Mamee from the company and today we will distribute them to the victims at the relief centres in Kota Belud," he told reporters here today before leaving for Kota Belud to distribute the aid.
To date, 2,166 flood victims have been housed at eight relief centres in Kota Belud.
The eight relief centres are Dewan Masyarakat Tun Said, Dewan SMK Agama Tun Said, Dewan SMK Taun Gusi 1, Dewan SMK Taun Gusi 2, Dewan SK Taun Gusi, Dewan Gopok Taginambur, Dewan Muhibah Tombol and Dewan SK Pekan. — Bernama
