Selangor Sultan visits Royal Mausoleum in conjunction with birthday

KLANG: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah today visited the Klang Royal Mausoleum and joined a tahlil session held there.
The visit was among the programmes organised in conjunction with Sultan Sharafuddin's 72nd birthday celebrations next Monday.
Sultan Sharafuddin, who was accompanied by the Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah arrived at the royal mausoleum at about 10.10am.
Also present were Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, state dignitaries and members of the Selangor royal family.
The tahlil was led by Selangor Mufti Datuk Mohd Tamyes Abdul Wahid.
The royal mausoleum which is located adjacent to Istana Alam Shah here is the gravesite of Sultan Sharafuddin's father, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj.
Sultan Sharafuddin also sprinked scented water on his father's grave. — Bernama
