Slow moving traffic on major highways as of noon

KUALA LUMPUR: Slow traffic flow is reported on several major highways due to an increase in the volume of cars as of noon today.
A spokesman of the North-South Expressway Project (PLUS) traffic control centre said the traffic was slow moving at Changkat Jering to Bukit Berapit, Sungai Perak Rest and Service (RnR) area to Menora Tunnel and Hentian Simpang Pulai to Gopeng.
"Traffic is also slow at Sungai Petani Selatan heading to Bertam due to an accident involving two vehicles at km114.6," he said when contacted by Bernama.
Meanwhile a spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority said smooth traffic flow was reported on the East Coast Expressway 1 and 2 which was under control in both directions.
