Syndicate specialising in stealing 4WDs busted

JELI: Kelantan police have busted a syndicate specialising in stealing four-wheel drive vehicles following the arrest of three local men, aged 32 to 43, here last Monday.
Jeli Police Headquarters Management Division head ASP Ahmad Haizan Abdullah said the trio were nabbed at a bushy area near a petrol in the early hours of Monday.
He said following questioning it was found that the trio had stolen 4WD hours earlier and that their total haul for the year was five 4WDs.
All three tested positive for Metamphetamine, he added. — Bernama
