SHAH ALAM: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today, apologised for his mistakes throughout his involvement in politics.
Speaking at PPBM's Inaugural Annual General Assembly, Mahathir, who had lead the country for 22 years said he is just a normal person who could not run away from mistakes.
"Before I end my speech, I would like to apologize if I had offended anyone.
"Just like a normal person, who is not shy in expressing my views, I too admit that I've made mistakes, not only today but throughout my involvement in the country's politics.
"I sincerely apologize for my mistakes throughout," Mahathir said.

The statement received loud cheers and support from 946 delegates at PPBM's AGM held at Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) here.
Mahathir also labelled those who left PPBM in the past few months as "garbage".
He said although the main purpose of PPBM's "creation" was to topple its number one enemy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak, party members who exited the party are much worse than the former.
"I would say they are like garbage. I'm not saying sorry. They are worse than our enemy, which is Najib. They have betrayed our struggles," Mahathir said.
