Hajiji puas hati proses mengundi PRN Sabah berjalan lancar

Ketua Menteri Sabah Hajiji Noor berpuas hati dengan kelancaran proses mengundi PRN Sabah ke-17 di semua 73 DUN negeri itu.

TUARAN: Ketua Menteri Sabah Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor menyatakan kepuasan terhadap perjalanan Pilihan Raya Negeri Sabah ke-17 yang berlangsung dengan baik, lancar dan teratur.

Beliau yang juga Pengerusi Gabungan Rakyat Sabah berkata keadaan harmoni dapat dikekalkan walaupun ramai calon bertanding dalam pilihan raya negeri kali ini.

Hajiji yang merupakan calon GRS bagi kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri Sulaman turut optimis pengundi akan keluar menunaikan tanggungjawab mereka.

“Di Tuaran, keadaan cuaca kelihatan baik,” katanya ketika ditemui pemberita di perkarangan pusat mengundi Sekolah Kebangsaan Serusup.

“Mengikut ramalan, mungkin akan hujan pada waktu petang.”

Beliau berharap pengundi berdaftar di Sabah keluar mengundi lebih awal untuk menunaikan tanggungjawab mereka di semua 73 kawasan DUN.

Hajiji telah selesai mengundi di pusat mengundi itu pada 11.42 pagi bersama isteri Datin Seri Juliah Salag.

Beliau berdepan pertandingan lima penjuru bagi kerusi DUN Sulaman termasuk calon muda Barisan Nasional Dr Shahnon Rizal.

Turut bertanding ialah Mokhtar Hussin dari Parti Warisan dan Tiaminah @ Siti Aminah Ele daripada Perikatan Nasional.

Pajudin Nordin dari Parti Impian Sabah juga antara calon yang bertanding di kerusi berkenaan.

Pada PRN Sabah ke-16, Hajiji menang kerusi DUN Sulaman dengan majoriti 3,099 undi.

Beliau berjaya mempertahankan kawasan itu sejak lebih tiga dekad lalu.

DUN Sulaman mempunyai 18,352 pengundi berdaftar dalam pilihan raya negeri kali ini. – Bernama
