Harga RON95 turun ke RM1.99 seliter akhir bulan ini, janji PM

JOHOR BAHRU: Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim mengulangi jaminan bahawa harga petrol RON95 akan diturunkan kepada RM1.99 seliter menjelang akhir bulan ini.

Beliau berkata langkah itu menunaikan janji Kerajaan MADANI untuk meringankan beban rakyat.

“Ada yang marah kerana September sudah tiba tetapi harga minyak belum turun. Saya kata sebelum akhir September. 10 Sept akhir bulan ke? 15 Sept akhir bulan ke? Tunggu sekejap. Turun atau tidak? turun.”

Anwar yang juga Menteri Kewangan berkata harga RON95 kini berada pada paras RM2.05 seliter.

Harga sebenar tanpa subsidi mencecah RM2.50 hingga RM2.60 seliter.

Sementara itu, Perdana Menteri menjelaskan lawatan-lawatan rasmi beliau ke luar negara dilakukan atas jemputan pemimpin luar.

Anwar berkata perkara itu selaras dengan kedudukan dan status Malaysia yang dipandang tinggi di peringkat antarabangsa.

“Orang selalu kata saya banyak keluar negara. Ingat senang ke, saya pergi bercuti? Ini kerja.”

Beliau menerima jemputan rasmi Emir Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani untuk menghadiri Sidang Kemuncak Tergempar Arab-Islam pada 15 September ini.

Sidang kemuncak itu akan membincangkan situasi kritikal di Palestin, khususnya di Gaza.

Beliau berkata sebagai negara yang merdeka dan berdaulat, Malaysia perlu berani bersuara serta memainkan peranan aktif dalam arena antarabangsa. – Bernama
