Pemuda kekal hasrat tukar pengakuan bersalah dalam kes bunuh kekasih hamil

KLANG: Seorang pemuda yang berdepan pertuduhan membunuh dan membakar kekasihnya yang hamil di Sabak Bernam dua tahun lepas masih berhasrat menukar pengakuannya kepada bersalah di Mahkamah Tinggi di sini.

Peguam Muhammad Nor Tamrin berkata beliau dimaklumkan mengenai hasrat Muhammad Fakrul Aiman Sajali itu hari ini.

Beliau menyatakan telah dihubungi oleh anak guamnya melalui panggilan telefon semalam untuk mempertimbangkan perkara itu secara menyeluruh.

Selepas dinasihatkan sekali lagi pagi ini, pemuda berkenaan memberitahu masih mahu menukar pengakuan kepada bersalah.

Susulan itu, Muhammad Nor memohon agar mahkamah menetapkan tarikh sebutan bagi membolehkan pertuduhan terhadap Muhammad Fakrul dibacakan semula.

Penolong Kanan Pendaftar Luqman Abdul Haris kemudian menetapkan 10 Oktober depan sebagai tarikh sebutan semula kes itu.

Prosiding hari ini yang dikendalikan oleh Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Nurul Ashiqin Zulkifli sepatutnya mendengar keputusan representasi dalam kes berkenaan.

Pada 8 September lepas, Hakim Norliza Othman menetapkan hari ini bagi mengetahui status representasi Muhammad Fakrul yang memohon untuk menukar pengakuannya.

Sebelum ini, mahkamah telah menetapkan 23 dan 27 Februari diikuti 9 hingga 13 Mac dan 30 Mac hingga 3 April 2026 sebagai tarikh perbicaraan.

Pada 15 Mei lepas, mahkamah membenarkan permohonan agar Muhammad Fakrul Aiman dirujuk kepada pakar psikiatri bagi menjalani pemeriksaan mental.

Muhammad Fakrul Aiman didakwa membunuh pelayan restoran itu di Jalan Sungai Limau antara 8.30 malam 22 Mei dan 8 pagi 23 Mei 2023.

Beliau didakwa mengikut Seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan yang membawa hukuman mati jika sabit kesalahan. – Bernama
